There are many restaurants in the area, some of which are located directly on the lake and can be accessed by boat. Brookkfield (previously PPL )utilizes the lake for hydroelectric power, operates several campgrounds on the lake that sell gasoline and provide boat launching for a small fee. The campground stores also sell boating, fishing and food items. The nearest launch is a 5 minute drive at Ledgedale Campground. Additional support facilities such as food market, gasoline, bank, post office, fast foods, liquor stores and restaurants are located in Hamlin (about a 10 min drive)

Our home is a 5 minute walk from the front door to Lake Wallenpaupack shoreline, the largest motor boat lake in the Poconos. This property has all the necessary conveniences in mind! Each bedroom includes one queen bed and bunk beds; there is space in each room to accommodate a pack-n-play. There is a family room with basic cable and apple tv, kitchen with island and four bar stools, and a new sunroom addition that includes a dining table for eating or games, along with a couch to read your favorite book or keep an eye on the plentiful wildlife. The home has WIFI and Alexa. You can also enjoy eating and relaxing on the deck, or by our fire pit at night, roasting marshmallows with the kids. Saving the best for last, this home is within minutes of the lake (also minutes from Sterling Marina who rent boats, paddleboards, etc). If you have a boat, although we do not have a dock we recommend calling Ledgedale Marina to inquire about their boat launch. We offer two kayaks and various swimming floats/life vests for your convenience. For games we have can jam and cornhole. There is a large grass beach to relax, have a picnic or read a book. Our home is 15 minutes from the local grocery store, Dunkin Donuts, shopping, breweries and restaurants. Many local spots nearby for antiquing. Located 20 minutes from Big Bear Ski Mountain and 35 minutes from Montage Mountain and Elk Mountain for Skiing. There is a AC wall unit to keep you cool when it's hot and baseboard heating to warm you up. The other bedroom is not too shabby either, where it's a queen with plenty of closet space and ship lap ceiling. It's also equipped with a flat screen TV as well for your enjoyment. Also has it's own AC wall unit and baseboard heating. The loft area is featured with a cable railing system for that modern look, but still has that cabin feel. The loft has two single beds with an electric fireplace between them so the kids (or adults!) can have their own little camp out at the lake. When you go downstairs, you have another separate living space with a flat screen TV, couch and love seat with additional seating which has views of the lake. The downstairs sliding glass doors opens to a separate covered patio under the deck where you can sit and continue to enjoy the lake view and activities. It includes a propane fire pit and also a 4 person hot tub. The a gradual stone walkway, leads you to a 14' x 12' patio area by the water which has seating and a fire pit for those evenings around the fire and eating smores. You can bring your boat or jet ski and launch your boat at no charge at Sterling Marina right up the road. You may also store your trailer there while you enjoy the lake at no charge.
